--The Hewson Co. purchased 15 acres at the northwest corner of Greenfield Road and Presidio Street for its future Hewson Dover Business Center. Hewson bought the property from Dover Associates LLC and Canal Associates LLC. Stein Koss and Marc Pierce of Lee & Associates represented Hewson. The seller was represented by Daedalus Real Estate Advisors.
The new development is within the Dover Industrial Park. The business center will have five multitenant buildings. The first phase will have three buildings -- two for office use and one for industrial, said Hewson Chairman and Chief Executive Gary Hewson.
Construction is scheduled to start in January, and occupancy is projected by mid-2005. The first three buildings were designed by Will Architects Ltd. of Phoenix. The contractor is Bjerk Builders Inc.
