Developer listens to eatery choices of area residents
By Angela Gabriel
The master planner and developer of Longbow Business Park and Golf Club in Mesa is completing a market study that will help determine which restaurants are best suited to the project.
The 330-acre development's restaurants are scheduled to open in spring 2005, said Bob McNichols, managing member of Daedalus Real Estate Advisors LLC in Phoenix. Although Daedalus has not yet had discussions with any restaurant operators, McNichols said planning sessions with citizens near Longbow have shown that people want a mix of casual and fine dining establishments. That knowledge is important, he said, because in the end, it's these people who will determine the restaurants' success.
As Daedalus continues its market study, McNichols said the company welcomes suggestions from the public at (602) 889-2323.
